The Help Deskis an important point of contact for many UK Nationals requesting advice on various matters relating to living in Cyprus.

The Friends hospice in Paphos is a six bedroom palliative care facility, that provides exceptional care for any patients suffering from a life limiting illness, entirely free of charge. The hospice will welcome the first patients in the near future and is a place of serenity, tranquility and peace for patients, and their families and friends. The Cancer Patients Support Group was founded more than 25 years ago. The aim of the group is to provide help to cancer patients and their families in Paphos.

We aim to raise at least €100,000 a year and we are exceeding this. This enables us to provide equipment for patients.

We are purchasing a brand new 18 seater mini bus to transport patients to Nicosia and Larnaca and we have the wonderful Zingers,an amateur choir, who fund-raise and work alongside us.
We work in tandem with PASYKAF, (Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends, a voluntary, non-profit, charitable organization) as all nationalities are helped.

Their mobile nurses get our help too and work closely with us. We also have a free help line too.
We raise money by holding events, runs, walks and much more . We couldn’t raise this money without the help of local companies and the community.

The Cyprus Association for the Protection of Animals, CAPCA, better known as Paws, is a registered charity and provides a caring facility for abandoned, rescued and abused dogs in the Paphos area. We believe passionately that every dog should enjoy the best possible life.

Our Vision is a world where all pets, particularly dogs, are well cared for in loving and safe homes.

Our Mission is to ensure every dog that comes into our shelter receives the best possible care and treatment so they can start a better life. We promote good animal welfare and responsible pet ownership, we work with communities both in Cyprus and overseas to ensure we can rehabilitate and rehome dogs to the right home. We champion and support vulnerable dogs, and aim to create lasting change for animals who have been in our care.

Paws care for 150 dogs on a daily basis and are reliant on volunteers to be able to do this.

Paws is open to visitors from 7.30am to 11:00am daily and we’re located in Acheleia, just off Exit 46 of the Paphos to Limassol motorway (A6).
