The bond between Darling and Lennon goes back to the early '90s in Los Angeles, where Darling was performing with his band, Darling Cruel. The two artists reconnected in Europe in the mid-'90s, working on Lennon's album Photograph Smile, and from that collaboration, a lasting partnership was born. Over the decades, they have toured the world and collaborated on numerous projects, including tracks on Lennon's albums Everything Changes and Jude.

The music video for “New Dream,” crafted by Charlie Warner, brings a unique, hand-drawn animation style, capturing the song's essence with a nostalgic, heartfelt touch. Warner's painstaking dedication over weeks of work reflects the song's sincere message of hope and resilience.

The release of “A New Dream” holds even deeper significance given Julian's role as the founder of the White Feather Foundation and Gregory's position as the head of artist outreach for Reluvotion, founded by Professor Nicholas Dungey.
